This page demonstrates some hidden sigils that can be found in the Aleister Crowley's The Book of Thoth (Egyptian Tarot) by using the hexagram diagram entitled "Numbers of the Planets" found on the upper left of page 275 and the "Suit Attribution" lists on page 283. It is presumed that if you have an interest in this page then you also have a copy of the The Book of Thoth available from Weiser publishing. To call the sigils "hidden" maybe a misnomer, because all that is needed is to follow the sequences from the lists and connect the dots! In the following illustrations based on those pages just follow the numbers from 1 to 9 which mark the order of the sigil construction. These sequence numbers should not be confused with the actual "numbers of the planets" of the original diagram! The astrological sign attributed has been included and the sigils have been color coded using the Islamic system. I have included my own observations on the sigils.

This sigil is the give-away that these sigils are indeed deliberate and that they are not just a product of my imagination per se. All four sigils interpretations seem to hinge on a vertical-middle/phallic line ascending in the center from the Moon to Saturn. In the case of Cups/Water it is the lack of such a line in the most feminine of the suits/elements that verifies Crowley's deliberate planning.

In this sigil of the most active and masculine of the suits and elements the vertical-middle/phallic line from the Moon to Saturn is at the very end (steps 8 and 9) cutting across the horizontal lines without interference.

In this troubled and schizoid suit the verticle-middle/phallic line is the initial line (steps 1 and 2), but is cut off by two horizontal lines.

Finally in the daughter/princess the verticle-middle/phallic line ascends at steps 5 and 6 over the intitial horizontal steps 1 and 2, but is cut back at 8 and 9. Notice too that it nose dives at the next immediate of steps of 6 and 7!
